These heartbreaking photos show the plight of
a baby girl being raised in poverty after being
born with an oversized head.
The youngster ,
now aged two, faces a daily struggle alongside
her mum after her father left the family before
she was born.
The girl, whose family lives in Thailand's Sa
Kaeo province, was been severely disabled
since birth and suffers multiple illnesses.
Named only as Joon, she has a severely
enlarged and misshapen head and her limbs are
under-developed.
She cannot see, hear or walk and has no real
perception of what is going on around her.
Joon's family is very poor as her mum, who
also looks after her parents, cannot work.
Their plight was highlighted by a Thai celebrity
beautician known as Salon Angel.
He visited the family bringing, bringing them
milk, nappies and food, and appealed for others
to help on social media.
